I'm sure THAT counts for something!
When I will be making my first app ( with the unlimited version) to promote my self the " edit this app" will be there?
Can any one after I produce my first app buy the " edit this app" button ant take control of the app?
I really appreciate your help and support on this matter !
Regards
The way I understand it is that nobody can take over the app unless they have the assigned code.
No one is going to be able to hack your app. The App Cat guys wouldn't allow that to happen to us!
So sorry if I have upset you or any one else, I thought I was just asking questions and I do not
really get the "hijacking topic" referring to what
Question 1:
So it is a one off purchase- 1app that come with instant editor?. The URL is in Appcat or follow the reseller's URL ?
Question 2:
If I sell the instant app editor separately. Later, My client browse thro the private editor shall we standardize the price for editor at $149.
1) The price is standardized at $149 because we provide territorial rights to RedDot Sellers. It includes all necessary plugins and locates the app on instantapp.com without options to move it.
2) You can sell InstantApp (the Plugin) at whatever price you want if you're not a RedDot Seller because you can move it to an anonymous domain because you own App.Cat. As such you're offering a different product.
Please note that InstantApp.com is a separate company. App.Cat licenses their technology and provides it to you so you can sell a Plugin that's as cools as the core product InstantApp.com offers.
Personally I suggest you start offering InstantApp Plugins at $149 or become a RedDot Seller but it's up to you.
I put RedDot into the search window and found several entries for it. There is one that tells all of the things that a RedDot seller can do; and it starts with selling 20 Instant App plugins to your customers. I am not sure after that, because I couldn't find anything more.
There's no reason why you shouldn't yet be a RedDot Seller if you followed the advice of our current top seller @SarahSkinnyGold: http://appcat.vanillaforums.com/discussion/comment/2992/#Comment_2992
Why not give all AppCatters an Ecommerce option for instant app? Why only big sellers? Maybe the reason some haven't sold many iA plugins is because they don't know how to take payment? Maybe they sold the app for cash back in the day, now lost touch or "fell out" of app making?
Maybe enable it even just for a short while so they can see how advantageous iA direct selling would be for their business. I just remember how my sales went thru the roof the day the credit card payment started on my page. Customers clearly want to buy it but I think they want it right then. Not fill out a form.
Just a thought.
Our integrated payment mechanism for RedDot Seller is nothing short of brilliant and I am glad you appreciate it. Not only does it authorize your customer's card but it also instantly knows WHICH app your customer wants to upgrade with IA, then upon successful payment automatically unlocks it for him, sends him a receipt in your name and keeps sending him little emails each time he changes stuff that may confuse him later ("you" send password retrieval emails, name change confirmations, etc.).
@JavierPierotti Your customer wants the product instantly and as you can read above, you yourself will NEVER be able to integrate as tightly an ecosystem with your own PayPal account as what we automatically provide for RedDot Sellers.
Heck, maybe even demonstrate the FollowUp-Pitch email thing that works so great.
FollowUp-Pitch is part of the perks of being a RedDot seller. It's a button that sends an email to all your existing customers who don't yet have IA. It lets them watch the video AND buy IA right from the email.
I can switch it on for a few hours while we're upgrading the Lounge, if you want.
It'll turn everyone into a RedDot Seller as described above.
